Surreina Gerbman is the founder of Elaruna Sanctuary of Sound & Light, a sacred space devoted to sound healing, ceremony, embodied practice, and advanced spiritual study. With over 30 years of experience in mindful movement, energy medicine, and group facilitation, she guides individuals and practitioners into deeper remembrance, resilience, and authentic leadership.
Rooted in both ancient wisdom and practical integration, Surreina’s work bridges yoga, sound healing, Reiki, hypnotherapy, and ceremonial practice. She is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, 500-hour Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Gong Avatar Academy graduate, Holy Fire III Reiki Master, and advanced Sound Healing Practitioner and Trainer.
Through Elaruna Sanctuary, she offers immersive sound journeys, seasonal ceremonies, and community gatherings designed to regulate the nervous system and reconnect participants to inner clarity. Her emerging programs include:

Decades of Devotion
With over 30 years immersed in the healing arts, Surreina’s path has been shaped by a deep devotion to embodiment, energy medicine, and sacred transformation. Her approach blends the clinical with the mystical, the intuitive with the practical—rooted in decades of study, personal practice, and guiding others through their own unfolding.
She is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, a 500-hour Professional Yoga and Meditation Teacher, a Holy Fire® III Usui Reiki Master, and a certified Sound Healing Practitioner through the Gong Avatar Academy. She also incorporates Aroma-Healing and hands-on therapeutic treatments to support the body’s innate capacity to restore harmony and vitality.
Surreina’s work is steeped in reverence for the power of ritual and rite of passage. Trained as a Venus Rose Priestess and apprenticed under a shamanic mentor, she has spent years crafting ceremonies that honor both personal and collective transformation—from cacao and fire rituals to creative, intuitive rites woven from spirit and soul.
This lifetime of practice continues to evolve, as she remains devoted to guiding others with integrity, heart, and a fierce love for the healing journey.
The Birth of Elaruna
A Spirit led origin story
Elaruna Sanctuary of Sound & Light was not conceived as a business idea or a studio concept. She arrived gradually — through quiet whispers, embodied knowing, ceremony, and lived experience — revealing herself over time as something that wanted to be remembered, not invented.
Over the past year, a deeper intelligence began to move through Surreina’s work, inviting a reorientation from offering individual practices toward stewarding a sanctuary of study, transmission, and becoming. This unfolding was not linear. It came through moments of stillness and listening, through sound and silence, through ritual, and through a season of profound personal shedding and reclamation.
What emerged was the recognition that the work had always been about more than classes or events. Yoga, sound healing, ceremony, and mentorship were never the destination — they were pathways. Tools. Languages through which something much older and wiser was already moving.
The name Elaruna revealed itself as both symbol and signal.
Elara, one of Jupiter’s moons, carries the energy of expansion, awakening, and cosmic remembrance.
Luna, the moon, holds rhythm, intuition, cycles, and the ancient feminine wisdom of becoming.
Together, they form Elaruna — a sanctuary guided by cycles, resonance, and living light.
Elaruna was born from a moment of clear recognition: that sound and light are not simply modalities, but forms of spiritual medicine — intelligent, initiatory, and alive. That true study is experiential. That leadership arises not from authority, but from embodiment.
And that there is a growing call for spaces where depth, integrity, and reverence are held without dogma or performance.
This sanctuary was shaped through years of immersion, ceremony, and devoted practice — through the steady weaving of sound, healing, and spiritual study into lived experience. As these threads gathered, what had long lived within Surreina’s work began asking for a home: a place where seekers, students, and practitioners could gather to study deeply, to listen more closely, and to step into soul-led leadership through embodiment rather than instruction alone.
Elaruna Sanctuary exists as a response to that call.
It is a space devoted to those who feel drawn to go beyond surface-level wellness and into meaningful, embodied study. A place where sound is approached with intelligence and care. Where discomfort is understood as part of transformation. Where ceremony is grounded, inclusive, and alive.
