Surreina Gerbman, Shannon Hamaker of Midlife Magic, and Tracy Tomas come together to offer this special Samhain holiday gathering for women of all ages — a sacred afternoon of ceremony, connection, reflection, and celebration.
Samhain (pronounced Sow-en) marks the ancient Celtic New Year — the cross-quarter holy day midway between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice. It is a time to honor the ancestors, to pause at the threshold between endings and beginnings, and to listen deeply to the wisdom that stirs in the dark fertile soil of our souls.
The Ancestral Gate is this threshold — a sacred passage where we open to remembrance and healing, honoring the lineage that walks beside us and the wisdom that lives within our bones. As the veil between worlds grows thin, we gather to harvest the blessings and lessons of the year thus far — releasing what no longer nourishes, awakening to what is blossoming, and celebrating all that is unfolding within and around us.
Together we’ll journey through layers of remembrance and renewal — opening our hearts through guided reflection, ceremony, cacao, and movement. As we connect with our ancestors and awaken our inner light, we’ll anchor these insights through embodiment, sound, and the healing resonance of Reiki. Our afternoon will close in community with nourishing food, connection, and shared celebration of sisterhood.
