Elemental Yoga - Unheated

Location: Yoga Landing, Signal Mountain, Chattanooga

Elemental Yoga is a grounding and supportive class rooted in the foundations of classic Hatha yoga. Designed for all levels, this practice is especially beneficial for newer students, those returning to the mat after injury, and experienced yogis who desire a more therapeutic, alignment-based experience.

In these sessions, you can expect slow, intentional movements with a focus on proper technique, anatomical alignment, and mindful breath integration. Poses are thoughtfully sequenced and held with care, inviting strength, balance, and inner steadiness to unfold at your own pace.

This class offers an invitation to return to the essential elements of your body and breath, creating space for self-inquiry, healing, and nervous system regulation. Through longer holds and minimal weight-bearing on the wrists, students are able to develop strength with stability and improve their overall balance and resilience — both on and off the mat.

We utilize props generously to support diverse needs, honoring the truth that yoga is not about performance but presence. This inclusive approach ensures a safe and empowering experience for every body.

Each class is guided by a subtle theme inspired by seasonal energy, elemental wisdom, chakra exploration, and lunar/astrological rhythms. These themes help cultivate deeper connection and embodiment, offering gentle insight into how your personal practice reflects the greater cycles of nature and spirit.

To conclude, each session ends with a brief sound bath during Savasana, allowing the body to integrate the practice and drop into a space of deep rest and renewal.
